Delete your DormWith data

To delete your DormWith account and data, including data from signing in with Facebook, Apple or Instagram:

Email dormwith@gmail.com from the address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”.
We confirm by reply and delete your account, profile, photos, the messages you sent, and linked Facebook, Apple and Instagram data within 30 days. Some records may be kept longer only where the law requires it.

Newer versions of the app also let you do it yourself under Settings → Delete account. That takes effect at once and cannot be undone; you can later sign up again with the same email as a new account.

Removing only a connection

Instagram: disconnect it in the app under Settings.
Facebook: remove DormWith in Facebook under Settings → Apps and Websites.

“Deactivate account” in the app hides your profile from other students and signs you out on every device until you sign in again. It does not delete your data.
